History of NHAEOP

On April 22, 1939, at Carpenter Hotel in Manchester, 20 secretaries representing four school districts met to organize the New Hampshire Association of School Secretaries. Since that day, seventy years ago, NHAEOP has grown to over 330 members, representing most of the public school districts in New Hampshire, many of the private schools and the State Department of Education. The name was changed recently to better reflect our new membership: New Hampshire Association of Educational Office Professionals.

The New Hampshire Association of Educational Office Professionals is the only state professional organization for educational support personnel. NHAEOP recognizes the unique role of educational office personnel and the important contributions they make to the profession.
